Fairs, Past and Present: A Chapter in the History of Commerce by Cornelius Walford published by Elliot Stock, Pasernoster Row, London 1883. A nicely bound hardback book in part leather, handmade rough cut pages with smooth gilt edge on top (see photographs), approx 15. 5cm x 23. 5cm. Shows light signs of age, wear, appears to have had first and last leaves professionally reinforced by paper in more recent times (see photographs) and is in good condition nice book… one on Ebay tonight for £70.
