On an Inversion of Ideas as to the Structure of the Universe (The Rede Lecture, June 10, 1902). By Osbourne Reynolds, Professor of Engineering in the Owens College, Manchester. Published by University Press, Cambridge. 1st edition 1902. 44 pages. Publisher’s red boards, titled in gilt. Illustrated with numerous photographs. 5¼” x 7¾”. The top and bottom of the front board corners are damaged probably caused by an animal. It does not affect any text, easily repairable. Inserted in the front of the volume is a card, hand written on both sides by a relative of the author. However, this is now a RARE book on a very interesting subject that has now gone beyond the speculation of this volume. From single vendors book collection.
