WW2 cover 50th Ann Britain declares war on Germany signed Richard Haine Battle of Britain pilot. JS50/39/1aH 3 Sept 89 London 50th Anniv Britain declares war on Germany Flown in Hercules No 30 Sqn RAF Lyneham to RAF Gatow Berlin pilot signed Flt Lt Roberts. Personally Signed by Richard Haine No 25(F) Sqn 4 Sep 1939 First Blenheim fighter patrol of War. Also Battle of Britain pilot. On 10th May 1940 he flew one of six Blenheims which attacked Rotterdam airfield in daylight, only one returned to base. He was shot down and made a force landing in Holland. He and his gunner evaded capture and got back to England in the Destroyer evacuating the Dutch Royal Family. Good Condition Est.
